Foot spa recipe

Foot spa recipe

Ingredients:
1 cup of Epson Salts
A basin of Lukewarm Water
Dilute a drop of essential oils with water eg. Lavender or Eucalyptus for an aromatherapy sense (optional)

Method:

Soak both feet in the basin of warm water and Epson salts for 30 – 60 minutes.
When finished, dry both feet thoroughly especially in between all toes to eliminate the chances of developing soars.
Apply moisturising cream to both feet when fully dried
Repeat this method x2 per week

Benefits:

This method has been used over 100s of years as a healing agent and a stress reliever. It also reduces swelling, reduces muscle soreness, and exfoliates and softens the skin. If you are experiencing pain due to a corn or a build-up of callus, soaking your feet in the Epson salts can reduce this pain by softening the skin which will alleviate the pressure in that area. The same applies if you are suffering from ingrown toenails. The skin around the nail (the Sulcus) softens and alleviates the pressure around the affected area. If you have dry cracked heels this remedy will soften and exfoliate the skin which will reduce the chance of developing an infection. Always ensure to moisturise both feet after treatment.

Using this remedy maximally twice a week will give you a certain amount of relief until you can visit your foot specialist for a thorough treatment.

If you are diabetic, have kidney problems, or are pregnant, please consult your doctor before using this remedy.
